i don’t think some of you understand racism and police brutality aren’t an american exclusive issue. there’s systematic racism everywhere and the police are bastards everywhere. stop posting “thank g-d i’m not american uwu” cuz i’m sure your police force is the same breed of pigs
this is João Pedro, he was 14 years old, Rio de Janeiro police kill him in his own house. They counted 70 gun shots on the walls.
this is Agatha, she was only 8 years old, the police in rio de janeiro killed her when she was coming home with her mother.
this is Ketellen, she was 5 years old when the rio de janeiro police killed her, she was going to school.
this is Kauê, he was 12 when the rio de janeiro police shot him in the head.
These are only 4 of thousands of victims made by the police in Brasil, especially Rio de Janeiro.
I could spend the whole night here putting up pictures of black people who were and continue to be murdered by them.
In the first half of 2019 it was found that 80% of those killed by police in rio de janeiro were black. In real number : police killed 885 people, 711 were black.
If you don’t think this is a problem a don’t know what to say anymore. They literally murdered children in broad daylight, and nothing happens.
The FCC voted to repeal Net Neutrality, but I would like to reiterate to all of you that now is not the time to panic. It’s time to get angry and active, but not time to panic.
Clickbait sites are painting today as the definitive “end” of it all, but it’s not. This shit’s still got to go through the courts.
The FCC has tried to repeal net neutrality twice before, and both times it got repealed by the courts.
The voting public’s support for Net Neutrality is overwhelming. Last I checked, 83% of polled voters nationwide are in support of Net Neutrality staying.
Republican politicians and lawmakers are aware of this overwhelming support and have been voicing their support as well.
Doug Jones victory in Alabama was a wake-up call for Republican politicians, letting them know they are not invincible.

This is not a time for panic, it is a time for anger and for action. Let them know that this is not the end, only the beginning.
I rarely ever put political posts here but this isn’t really even political, this is an all-around issue. So anyway, here it is. Not all is lost folks, keep calling and keep voicing your support for net neutrality. Most importantly, do not panic.
It’s been expected all along that the FCC under Ajit Pai would vote for repeal; that’s exactly why it’s important to contact your representatives if you can. The message is starting to get through– even Republicans are starting to speak up for net neutrality. Congress can still act to protect it. Our representatives need to know their constituents are still paying attention!
